Simplifying, a debugger (in English: Debugger) is a computer program used to test programs and do your debugging, which consists of finding program errors. As already addressed in the tutorial, in class of 1973, each student received as a result of his work, a listing with the program written in the IPO language and the result obtained in the processing of his program, further generating a memory dump. At the time, in addition to deputting the IPO program, the “debugger” written in Assembler language, also compiled and performed.
